Eddie Taylor

Guitar and Bass Teacher

Ed has been performing and teaching guitar for the past 40 years; he has worked at many Primary and secondary schools in the Cambridge/Norfolk area and teaches all styles.

Ed played as guitarist with the hit Duo the truth who had a number 13 Chart hit with Beatles cover “Girl” and no 26 hit with Kinks cover “I go to sleep” Ed did many sessions in the 60’s and 70’s working in small studios in London. Ed also played with London scratch band Murphy’s Law – members were Martin Turner – Wishbone Ash and Jack Wild of “Artful Dodger Oliver film fame”

Tiago Coimbra

Bass Guitar

Born in Brasilia in 1980, Tiago Coimbra grew up in Brazil, Washington D.C., Guatemala and Cambridge UK. He started playing guitar and drums through the influence of his brother and settled on the bass as his instrument at the age of twelve. Tiago’s first gig was at the age of 13 with Beware the Moon, a rock band he played with for the next four years. With Beware the Moon, he played gigs, festivals and studio sessions.

After graduating from ACM Tiago won a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston USA, starting his studies there in September 1999. Whilst in college, Tiago was involved in a broad range of projects, including performing and recording with Spontaneous and Hiromi’s Explosion Trio. He has also studied with Oscar Stagnaro, Anthony Vitti, Bruce Gertz, Matthew Garrison, Abraham Laboriel, Walter Beasley, Ed Tomassi and Kenwood Dennard.

Tiago graduated from Berklee college of music in 2003 and has since toured the world, recording and performing with various bands including the Gavin Harrison and 05Ric Band,  Hiromi, Maceo Parker, Simon Phillips, Dennis Rollins, Myles Sanko, Resolution 88, Orphy Robinson, Cleveland Watkiss,Vanessa Haynes (Incognito), Kim Jordan, Judge Jules, Malik and the O.Gs and many others.
