The Guitar Club is a relaxed, weekly online hangout for young guitarists who love music and want to learn in a friendly, social environment. It’s not a traditional lesson and there’s no rigid curriculum — instead, students play together, share the music they’re learning, perform in a low-pressure setting, and learn songs as a group. It’s designed to feel safe, welcoming, and fun, helping young people grow in confidence while enjoying music with others who share their passion. If your child struggles with doing practice and keeping  motivated then this is a great class to accompany your music lessons as it will get them playing during the week in between their weekly lessons.

I taught hundreds of lessons online during the lockdown and some of the best parts of those lessons was sharing a music video or showing students a new band they hadn't discovered and then pulling up the music and having a go at a new song. This Club is essentially all those fun bits that give students inspiration and drive to play and enjoy their instrument or even form a band themselves!

This format is also especially powerful for shy children and those who want to build social skills. Being part of a supportive group helps students come out of their shell at their own pace, practise communicating through music, and develop confidence without the pressure of being put on the spot.
